It was only two weeks ago that Katie Price said that Love Island’s Chris Hughes could be her “next husband”, so she must have been ecstatic when she found out he was going to be sitting next to her on today’s Loose Women.
Before Chris even came out of the green room Katie’s co-panelist Coleen Nolan jokingly mocked her for her willingness to openly admit she has a huge crush on Chris even though she’s married to Kieran Hayler.
Katie had said on a previous show: “I’m in love with Kieran and he’s perfect, but Chris from Love Island, he’s going to be my next husband.”
Today Coleen went to great lengths to remind her she has a husband and she should stay away from the Love Island hunk.
Coleen said to Katie: “Remember we only watched you renewing your vows two days ago,” to which Katie replied: “Oh it was months ago.”

But Coleen countered: “Well it wasn’t,” and cued the VT which showed Katie and Kieran renewing their vows on a recent episode of her reality show Katie Price: My Crazy Life.
As part of her vows Katie said to her hubby: “Kieran, you have made our family stronger, the amount of trust I have in you is unbelievable.
“Even if I don’t show it I appreciate everything you do for my family. I will never let you down, I love you with all my heart and soul.”
When the video tape stopped Katie said her kids had written the vows for her, which was a nice touch. Coleen hit back saying: “You do remember it then?”
Coleen then surprised Katie by showing her a video message from Kieran. She introduced the video by saying: “Some may say, Katie, that it’s a gentle reminder that you’re married to him – and others may say it’s a warning.”
Kieran looked into the camera as he addressed his wife, he said: “Hi babes, heard Chris is a guest on the show today – I hope you keep those hands to yourself,” as he wagged a finger at the camera.
He continued: “Especially after we renewed our wedding vows on Monday night’s My Crazy life! Anyway, I’m sat here watching and keeping my eyes on you. Chris, you seem like a great guy and… yeah!
“People think we look sort of similar so we must both be very good looking!”
When Chris came out on the stage he was sat next to Katie and she started asking him questions. She wanted to know how being off the island will affect his relationship with girlfriend Olivia. She asked: “So now you’re back, she’s off working and you’re off working – do you think that will put more tension on-”
“Oh here we go,” Coleen interjected. Katie continued: “No, this is how it works. He’ll be off doing PAs, she’ll probably get jealous, maybe vice versa. But that will be the real test, I think.”
Chris confessed that it can be hard being away from each other but that they’re both getting on with it.
He said: “Well, I mean, there’s already that kind of separation where we do miss each other and we ain’t together like we were. But work’s work.”

Katie wasn’t shy about telling Chris what she thought about him, as she said: “If I wasn’t married you would be my type on paper, absolutely to a tee.”
She then seemed to address Olivia when she said: “You’ve got him, you’re the lucky girl, I’m married, that’s it isn’t it.”
After the show Katie posted a couple of flirty snaps with her crush, as she is seen kissing Chris on the cheek with her arms around his neck. Is she doing it to make Kieran jealous?
