Naughty Mark Jordon has revealed he deliberately misled Emmerdale fans.
But don’t be too angry with him… He did it to heighten suspense and make Amelia’s abduction storyline more dramatic!

Actor Mark, who plays Daz Spencer, has admitted that he deliberately tricked fans over the mystery surrounding his on-screen daughter’s disappearance.
The schoolgirl has been missing since Friday 1 June, when she vanished from the village after discovering that her ‘uncle’ Daz is in fact her biological dad.

He told Digital Spy: “It’s been a joy to work, desperate to add new little answers in that throw the viewer off. Instead of just playing the scene, we were determined that we would go further than just what the dialogue was saying or how the scene would end.
“There were moments where I would put in a guilty look instead of a listening one, and there have been moments where I have tried to look more suspicious than what was in the script – just to put red herrings in.”
The actor also revealed that the storyline has been “fun” to play, adding: “It’s been great fun to try and map things out and then to play it out knowing that it will get a good reaction.
“At the moment, it’s so far so good – everyone has really taken to this story so we’re really happy.”
The plot has certainly got viewers speculating…
We recently discovered that Amelia vanishing is linked to Daz’s mysterious past.
After being attacked by his brother, Daz confessed that he accidentally killed someone in 2009 during a training exercise in the army.
Many fans believe the two things are linked, and suspect that Beth – the girl Amelia is with – is the daughter of the man Daz killed.
And there are yet more twists ands turns to come in the mystery as Daz starts to become increasingly unhinged.
Upcoming episodes see the worried dad get a ransom call from Beth, leaving Daz frantically trying to find the money to pay.
Will he find the money on time? And will Beth ever let go of Amelia?
