Emmerdale viewers were left in tears on Friday night after Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle shared heartbreaking scenes.
As Robert came to terms with the fact he was now a father, he went to see Aaron to tell him he was planning on leaving everything behind.
But he ended up staying and deciding to be a dad.
However the scenes between him and his son caused concern among fans about the way Robert was holding the baby.
Talking directly to his son as he held him, Robert said: “I’m your daddy. You’ve probably heard a lot from your aunty Chrissie but you shouldn’t believe everything she says. Not all of it.
“I lie, I cheat, I do bad things I use people, I hurt anyone who loves me, everybody I love I push away, everybody hates me and I used to tell myself I didn’t care, but you have changed everything. Everything’s about you from now on.”
The scenes might have been moving, but that wasn’t the only thing people were commenting on.
They, of course, took to Twitter to comment on how anxious the scene was making them.

Robert confessed what he’d been up to trying to get his hands on Home Farm – and even how far things had nearly gone with Lawrence the night before.
“All of that just to get your hands on Home Farm?” Aaron queried.
Robert replied: “Rebecca broke us up, I wanted to break them, then I held my boy for the first time and it all changed.”
He continued: “When she first told me I spent every night praying that she would lose that baby because if she had, there was a chance for us. My own boy and I wished him dead.”
It was heartbreaking as Aaron then told him: “I had every faith in you, I thought you’d be a brilliant dad, I wanted us to be a proper family, I wanted us to have kids.”
And Robert went and ruined it by sleeping with Rebecca!
Then came the ultimate blow: “It’s too late for us now,” said Aaron. “We can never have kids, but you, you’ve got a son, you need of do this for the both of us.
“You run away now, everything that we’ve been through all that heartbreak and that pain is for nothing.”
As Aaron walked away telling Robert that maybe his son would be better off without him, Robert was then seen driving away from the village.
Just as we thought he’d gone through with his plan and left everything behind having been rejected by Aaron, he turned up at the Whites’ bearing gifts and wanting to hold his baby.
Us, crying? No, we’ve just got something in our eyes…
Turns out, Emmerdale fans were also in tears at what had happened throughout the episode.
