EastEnders SPOILER: Johnny Carter in DANGER as Aidan Maguire gets nasty

The hunt for the missing heist money continues

EastEnders’ Johnny Carter finds himself in trouble when he gets drawn into the hunt for the missing heist money – is he about to find out just how nasty Aidan Maguire can get?

Just when we thought the hunt for the missing cash couldn’t get any more complicated in EastEnders, there’s another twist in the storyline – and this time poor Johnny is in the firing line.

Aidan is getting impatient as the hunt for the money continues (as are we, to be honest!) – and an angry Aidan is definitely not someone you want to cross.

So when the conman discovers the Carters have managed to raise the funds to pay off Fi Browning and save The Vic – he’s convinced Mick must be hiding the cash.

Tomorrow night’s visit to Albert Square will see the family celebrating their victory in getting the pub back – but their excitement doesn’t last long when Aidan starts sniffing around…

Determined to get some answers, Aidan decides the best way to find out where his money might be is to target innocent Johnny.

Little does Aidan know, the family saved The Vic at the eleventh hour thanks to a ring that Halfway stole during the robbery.

So while the dodgy job did in fact save the Carters’ future, they don’t technically have the money that Aidan’s looking for.

But when nasty Mr Maguire closes in on Johnny, how will the law graduate manage to keep their secret safe while under pressure?

Will he cope with being grilled? Our could being questioned by someone so sinister prove to be too much for the usually law-abiding citizen?

Or could Johnny be in even more danger when Aidan uses him to get Mick Carter to speak?

Ted Riley, who plays terrified Johnny Carter, announced last year that he’ll be moving on from EastEnders imminently… so could his character’s latest involvement in the heist debacle be somehow connected to his exit?

Whatever the outcome – all we know if Aidan isn’t someone you lie to and get away with it…
