It was always going to be a secret that was too huge to keep hidden – and next week finally sees the moment Toyah confesses to Peter that Eva is baby Susie’s mum.
After Peter asks a grumpy Simon to take baby Susie out in her pram to give shattered Toyah a break, he does, although very reluctantly.
But trouble strikes when Eva catches Simon smoking over Susie and her maternal instincts kick in, forcing her to storm over and have a go at the teenager.

Telling Toyah, Leanne and Peter about what she’s just witnessed, Eva is fuming – but all the trio can do is drag an apology out of Simon, who is not happy at all.
Seeing red, Simon then lets rip at Eva, pulling her up for the way she treated Aidan, leaving her heartbroken.
But the cracks continue to show in the baby lie when Simon finds a hospital photo of Susie in Eva’s bag.
Hmm, how is she going to explain that one?
Peter sees the photo and confronts Eva, but still he doesn’t put two and two together and get four.
When Peter then later muses that Eva doesn’t seem to ever leave baby Susie alone, Toyah panics and thinks he is onto them.
With the truth threatening to expose itself, Eva knows that she needs to give the family space if they want to continue their facade, and she tells Toyah she’s moving out.
But the pressure of keeping up their baby lie becomes too much for Toyah, and she makes the momentous decision to tell Peter everything.
Yes, EVERYTHING!
Sitting Peter down, she reveals that their baby died, and that little Susie actually belongs to Eva and Aidan.
Peter is understandably stunned as Toyah reveals her baby pact with Eva – but will he listen when she begs him for forgiveness?

When Toyah tells Eva that she’d told Peter everything, she’s shocked. But she’s even more stunned when Toyah then tells her Susie needs her real mum.
With the truth out, it’s only a matter of time before the whole of Weatherfield knows about their baby lies.
But how will the Connors react when they discover Aidan was a daddy?
