Next week’s Corrie is set to be HUGE

Expect more gripping drama from the cobbles

Coronation Street fans are still struggling to recover from the gripping drama that hit the cobbles last week as evil Pat Phelan finally got his comeuppance.

But don’t expect the edge of your seat to get a break, because next week is set to be another huge week in Weatherfield.

There are three big moments in next week’s episodes. First there’s Toyah and Eva’s baby lies being exposed. Then Eileen and Nicola leave the cobbles, and finally it is Aidan’s funeral.

Corrie’s official Twitter page has hinted at all three of these storylines, also treating fans to an exclusive picture from Aidan’s funeral scenes next week.

The soap’s official ITV website also reveals: “At Aidan’s funeral, Johnny gives an emotional eulogy. When he says that Aidan would have made a great dad, it all gets too much for Eva and she rushes out of the church.”

Blaming herself for Aidan’s death, it looks like his funeral is all too much for the grieving new mum.

After weeks of hiding the secret that she is baby Susie’s mum, it seems the cracks are starting to show in Eva’s baby lies that she cooked up with Toyah.

The ITV website also states: “Peter finds the hospital photo that Eva has of Susie and confronts her about it.

“Worried and unable to cope with the guilt, Toyah makes the agonising decision to tell Peter the truth. But when he discovers that Susie is Eva’s baby, how will Peter react?”

But it’s not just Aidan’s funeral and Eva’s baby lies that are causing shockwaves around Weatherfield.

The soap has revealed that after a dramatic few months thanks to killer Pat Phelan, Nicola and Eileen are also set to say farewell to their friends next week.

“Gary is shocked when Nicola reveals she is moving to Bristol with baby Zack. Eileen decides to go with Nicola and bids a fond farewell to Weatherfield. Will she return?”
