Things are looking bleak for Corrie’s Billy Mayhew at the moment.
Following his brush with death at the hands of Peter Barlow, he is now found himself hooked on painkillers thanks to Adam Barlow – all revenge for his part in Susan Barlow’s death.
But it looks like things might take an even darker turn for the vicar when adopted daughter, Summer, looks for someone to help Billy in a moment of need – and she innocently chooses Pat Phelan!
Billy’s life really starts to spiral out of control next week – not only is his addiction so bad that he is turning to his drug addict brother, Lee Mayhew, for help, but he also discovers Summer’s school work is suffering because of him.

Desperate to get his hands on something that will make him feel better, Billy calls his estranged brother and arranges to meet him.
Once there Billy is forced to apologise for the way he treated Lee last time they met and his brother finally agrees to get him some methadone to help.
But when Summer’s school call Billy asking him to go in for a chat – he is shocked to see Summer’s grandma, Geraldine, there.
The pair argue about Summer, and it is clear that Billy’s downward spiral is the reason Summer is struggling with her classes.

Worried about her adoptive dad, Summer realises he needs some help and searches for an adult to help.
But when she unwittingly turns to Phelan for advice, has she just landed Billy in more trouble than she could imagine?
Phelan agrees to help Billy for Summer, making out he is one of the good guys. Little does Summer know what the man is really capable of.
At his lowest point, and with Phelan now realising how weak he is – could Billy be next on the serial killer’s hit list?
