As Corrie fans know, lurking in the soon-to-be-cleared out lake at the site, are the dead bodies of Vinny Ashford and Andy Carver.

They’ve been decaying in the water since October when Phelan shockingly forced Andy to shoot Vinny, before he turned the gun on Andy – disposing of their bodies in the lake.

One of the bodies almost made an unwelcome appearance when a trainer recently bobbed to the surface, but Pat managed to fish it out, before going on to shoot mechanic, Luke Britton.

Pat’s now working at the Mill on a building development that could make him very wealthy indeed – and it also puts him in a good position to make sure the bodies go undiscovered.

At least, he thought that was the case until Mona recently informed him that the lake would need to be drained, putting Phelan in the difficult position of re-homing the two corpses.

As yet, he hasn’t had a chance to move them – life is very busy when you’re trying to cover up murders and deal with betrayal from close family members.

But when Mona visits Pat this week with some worrying news from the Mill, is it too late for him?

Meanwhile, Liz McDonald is trying to patch things up with Phelan’s wife Eileen by throwing a Getting To Know Pat party.

Something tells us she’s going to wish she hadn’t bothered.
