Coronation Street SPOILER: Josh Tucker arrested!

Will the police finally find out the truth?

At last! It seems there could be some justice heading for Coronation Street as David Platt’s rapist, Josh Tucker, is arrested.

Actor Ryan Clayton, who plays evil Josh, has been spotted filming on location along with actors dressed as police officers.

Witnesses who spotted the filming saw Josh being carted off by the police in a car, suggesting that he is being taken to the police station for questioning.

But does this mean that David has spoken out about his ordeal? Or has the truth emerged some other way?

Unable to tell anyone about his ordeal, viewers have watched as David’s life has spiralled out of control as he struggles to deal with his sexual abuse.

First he broke up with girlfriend Shona, only to hook up with new salon worker Emma.

But his close friend Maria seems to know something isn’t right with David – first she saw pictures of a drunk David on Josh’s Facebook page, and then she was left baffled after David asked her how you get tested for STDs.

There have also been hints that Shona could be on Josh’s case – but it remains to be seen how the truth finally comes out.

Jack P Shepherd recently told Digital Spy: “I think they say that on average it takes 25 years for a man to talk about it to anyone, let alone speak to the police.

“Obviously we’re not going to keep the storyline going for 25 years – that’d be awful viewing – but that’s actually what happens. But obviously when the episodes went out where it happened to David, people did start talking.

“I think everybody agrees that Josh is a bad person and David has been through something horrific, so I think Josh does need to get his comeuppance.”

With Josh’s lies apparently catching up with him, is he about to face up to what he has done? Or will he use his charm to worm his way out of trouble once again?
