Coronation Street viewers were horrified last night when Peter Barlow swore at Eva Price before the 9pm watershed.
In a furious rant he blasted his partner after she revealed that baby Susie wasn’t their baby and was instead Eva and Aidan’s baby.
A devastated Peter let her fury fly at Toyah after she made the confession.
He said: “You thought you could pass [Eva’s baby] off as ours? That was my baby that died.”
“All those months of lying,” he said as the full realisation of what he had lost dawned on him.

“You weren’t thinking about me, you were just desperate to fill that child shaped hole in your life, it didn’t matter whose it was.”
He added: “You let me bring her up as my chid.
“Pointing out to me how much she looked like me that she had my eyes, and my hair and my temper.”
Devastated he walked out, but later he unleashed and swore, shocking viewers with the pre-watershed scene.
“I lost my child and you never even told me. You don’t love me, you just wanted a child.
“You lied about my baby dying, you lied about everything and you would have carried on lying for the rest of our lives.

“And you dragged my son into this.”
He added: “He’s been traumatised by this and I’ve been shouting at him because of you. You selfish [expletive].”
Viewers hit out at the soap for the insult, with one saying: “Eeeeeesh! Corrie Swear Alert!”
Another added: “@itv probably need to work on timings with pre-watershed swearing #coronationstreet”
