Corrie fans are a step closer to seeing one of their favourite couples reunite.
In last night’s episode, Peter Barlow turned to old flame Carla Connor in his hour of need.
And many viewers hope it means the soap is lining up a reunion for the pair.

Tuesday’s episode (19 June) saw Peter’s reaction to the news newborn Susie is, in fact, Aidan Connor and Eva Price’s baby.
Toyah finally confessed the secret of Susie’s biological parents, admitting that her and Peter’s surrogate had miscarried their baby.

As the news sunk in, a furious Peter could barely look his wife in the eye.
Lashing out in a rage, he headed straight to find the person he knew he could rely on – ex-wife Carla.
“Toyah lied to me,” he told her. “She lied about the baby. Susie, she’s not mine!”
Many fans still believe that Peter and Carla truly belong together, so they were loving it!

However, Carla and Peter’s possible reunion could cause lots of trouble on the Street…
Firstly, Toyah would be devastated. And secondly, Peter will weigh in on Carla’s battle to regain control of Underworld.
And it’s has already sparked a custody battle.
When Johnny Connor found out the truth, he declared Eva Price an unfit mother and vowed to get custody of his grandson.
Will Eva get to keep her daughter? And will Carla and Peter be reunited?
