EastEnders SPOILER: Kush in meltdown

He hits the bottle at Ian and Mas' launch and will wake up smelling of regret

Poor Kush in EastEnders has been a ticking time bomb since his brother Shakil was brutally stabbed to death earlier this summer.

Since Shakil’s death, the stall holder has been trying to support his mum Carmel as she’s struggled to come to terms with the loss of her youngest boy.

At Carmel’s lowest point following his death, she even made a suicide attempt which was thwarted by Kush so it’s only really been a matter of time before the horrendous events caught up with him.

While everyone else is buzzing about Masood and Ian’s restaurant launch, Kush isn’t feeling it at all and tells a deflated Denise that he doesn’t want to go with her.

Denise is left feeling disappointed but she’s cheered up when Kush changes his mind and turns up anyway.

After Kush gets a pep talk from Carmel, he begins to take advantage of the free drinks Ian and Mas have put on.

But the drinks don’t end up agreeing with Kush’s sad state of mind too well and he ends up blurting out to the whole venue that Kim is pregnant.

Kim, who has been trying to keep her pregnancy a secret as her husband Vincent Hubbard is still missing, is shocked by Kush’s outburst.

But his drunken antics don’t stop there. Not by a long shot.

The next day, Kush tries to apologise to Kim for blabbing her secret, but Kim isn’t interested in his apology.

Later Kush tries to grab Martin, telling him that he needs to talk about what happened the previous night.

Kush has a confession for Denise but she remains oblivious as he tries to talk to her about the night of the launch and just hints that he still needs to make things up to Kim.

Meanwhile Carmel overhears the exchange and wonders what Kush is keeping from Denise.
