EastEnders fans have hit out at a baby selling storyline after Hayley Slater’s mum Bev revealed her plans to sell her own granddaughter.
The evil con artist has been undermining her daughter’s confidence with her baby in an effort to trick her into giving her to her so she can sell her.
In last night’s episode she told her daughter: “Don’t worry about it love, we’ll find her somewhere to go, aye?
“A mum and dad with a house, a real family. Someone who can love her properly.
“And if we can make a few quid out of it, it’s no more than we deserve.”

Fans were sickened by Bev’s plan and hit out on social media.
One said: “Sick EastEnders what next incest what a crap program pull the plug on it.”
A second added: “That Bev is one proper evil villian. She knew exactly how to push Haley. #EastEnders”
A third wrote: “Bev is vile! Trying to sell her own grandaughter! sick sick sick #eastenders”
Another tweeted: “Bev honestly makes me feel sick #EastEnders”
“She’s just plain vile,” said another outraged viewer. “She’d sell that baby to the highest bidder… however dodgy they are.”
Viewers watched earlier this week as Kat Slater put her feelings about Hayley aside and begged her not to go with her vile mother.
The show is lining up an epic battle between evil Bev and a vengeful Kat who is now determined to protect Hayley and the baby at all costs.
But with her estranged husband Alfie the father of Hayley’s baby, how long will it be before Kat discovers this and turns on Hayley properly?
