Kat Slater isn’t always popular with EastEnders fans, but they were ALL on her side when she came head to head with vile Bev.
Last night (Tuesday November 13), Kat fired on all cylinders when she discovered Hayley’s mum was plotting to sell her baby behind her back.
Jumping to Hayley’s defence and exposing the sick plan, Kat did what she’s best at – character annihilation.

And Bev deserved every word of it.
BBC viewers were disgusted as Bev was caught attempting to sell her granddaughter for a shocking £100,000.
Still not quite realising how grosteque her mum’s actions really were, Hayley needed Kat to tell her some home truths.
Kat called Bev “a conniving, cheating cow” as she told Hayley what her mum had been scheming.

She continued: “She’s going to sell your baby on the net to people she don’t even know, but she don’t care about that.
“All she cares about is the money she’s going to split with me, if I tell you it’s a good idea. You should’ve seen her. Practically panting, she was!
“She was going to bung me 30 grand, so I reckon she’s raking in at least double that!”
As the horrible truth sank in and Hayley realised what her own mother was capable of, fans tweeted their support of matriarch Kat.

Many applauded the growing relationship between Kat and her surrogate daughter Hayley… But how long will that last when Kat discovers the newborn is Alfie’s baby?
