EastEnders SPOILER: Dramatic twist for Ruby as Martin makes a shocking confession

Ruby makes a shocking decision

EastEnders Martin Fowler has got some explaining to do next week when his actions cause trouble for Ruby Allen’s rape case.

Ever since Ruby went to the police reporting Matt Clarkson to the police for rape, Martin has been struggling with his divided loyalties.

But after reluctantly showing the police the photo Kush found of Ruby and Matt kissing on the fateful night, it seems Martin’s actions will quickly come back to haunt him.

Next week sees Ruby moving into a new home on Albert Square after renting one of Jack Branning’s flats.

But her happy day soon turns sour when a police officer arrives with an update – they have got the photo of her kissing Matt – evidence that could change everything.

Martin goes to visit Ruby in her new home, but he quickly senses something isn’t right and guiltily realises that it is the photo that he gave to the police that’s causing issues.

Panicking that Ruby and Stacey are going to find out that he’s responsible for the new twist in the rape case, Martin begs Kush to say he was the one who handed the picture to the police.

Kush isn’t happy but agrees, knowing that his friend is in a pickle.

But that’s not the end of the drama. Stacey is then shocked when Ruby suddenly announces she is going to drop the charges against Matt, thinking no one is going to believe her now this photo has come to light.
