Mark Wright’s co-star jokes about Michelle Keegan’s existence

All in good humour, of course!

Mark Wright posted a gushing tribute to wife Michelle Keegan on Instagram, only to be teased by his co-star as to whether she even exists!

The former TOWIE star, 31, and actress Michelle, 31, are currently in a long-distance marriage as he works for US TV show Extra in Los Angeles and she films in the UK and around the world.

But showing Michelle is never far from his thoughts, Mark posted a sweet message to Instagram on Sunday night saying: “Whenever. Whatever. Wherever. I’ve got you.”

Mark’s Extra co-star and friend, Mario Lopez, couldn’t resist poking fun at Mark and Michelle’s long-distance marriage by leaving a comment quipping: “Oh! She exists :)”

Some fans seemed a bit confused over whether Mario’s remark was a joke or not, with one schooling Mario by pointing out just because Mark doesn’t post about Michelle on social media all the time it doesn’t mean Michelle doesn’t exist.

Others, however, said it was obvious Mario was just joking!

One wrote: “It’s a joke, guys. Pretty sure these 2 work(ed) together! He’s winding him up. Chill out!”

Another said: “He’s joking! Mario works with Mark every day and I’m sure he’s met Michelle loads.”

A third added: “He’s having a bit of fun guys. He works loads with Mark so I’m sure he knows she exists.”

Meanwhile, Michelle herself reacted to the post with a simple love heart emoji, while Mark’s mum Carol Wright wrote: “Couple goals. These two will last forever.”

Mark and Michelle, who married 2015, have often spoken out about how they maintain a long-distance marriage.

They’ve frequently fended off speculation of trouble in their romance, insisting that just because they can spend weeks apart it doesn’t mean their love isn’t strong.

Mark previously told ITV’s Lorraine: “The minute I get time off, I fly home, the minute she gets a few days off, she flies here. There are flights three to fours times a day from Heathrow to LA, so we make it work, we’re young.”

“We don’t always report when we see each other,” he added.
