SHOCK EastEnders blackmail plot pushes resident to the edge

How much more can they take?

EastEnders are planning months of huge stories in a bid to shake up life in the Square.

A shock blackmail plot is at the forefront of the action as one legendary character is set to be pushed to the brink.

It all starts when an illicit encounter is witnessed by another Walford resident and the popular character finds themselves at the mercy of their blackmailer.

As the peeping Tom makes more and more demands of their victim though, it seems the show fave could be sent over the edge as the pressure mounts.

With other problems in their life going on at the same time, this really is the last thing the resident needs – how will they cope?

Who could it be? Michelle Fowler has been secretly sleeping with her student boyfriend, Preston – could they be caught out?

Michelle’s set to face a huge crisis when her estranged husband Tim cuts her off and leaves her penniless. If she is the one being blackmailed, how’s she going to find the money to pay them off?

Or might it be Mick Carter and Whitney Carter, who have been growing closer and closer now Lee’s gone.

With all Mick’s debt problems building, Linda off caring for her sick mum, and rumours of an affair between the pub landlord and his daughter-in-law refusing to go away, could it be these two caught out?

Or does it have something to do with Max Branning’s revenge plot?

We’ve discovered that since his return he’s been out to destroy Walford after he was wrongly accused of murdering Lucy Beale.

He doesn’t seem to care who he hurts in his wake, so a spot of blackmail would be right up his street.

Is he the one who’s spotted the naughty moment? Or is he the one doing the deed?

He’s renowned for his love of the ladies, could Max get caught out, throwing his whole plan into jeopardy?

It’s set to be an explosive few months in Walford, with very little chance of happy ever afters. But then again, when is anyone in EastEnders happy?!
