Emmerdale’s Adam Barton and Aaron Dingle already share a beautiful bromance, but actor Adam Thomas would like to see their relationship progress beyond the platonic.
Adam’s relationship has recently hit the skids after he discovered he’s unable to give wife Victoria children.
And their marriage is set to crumble when she discovers that he shared a drunken kiss with his ex, Vanessa.
Similarly, Aaron and Robert’s coupledom is on rocky ground – when is it not? – as the latter is sitting on the bombshell that he bedded his ex Rebecca, and got her pregnant.

So, both Aaron and Adam could find themselves back on the market – or, at the very least, tempted to stray.
With that in mind, it’s not an entirely crazy idea to pair them up – Adam Thomas and co-star Danny Miller are great mates in real life and have good on-screen chemistry.
Speaking at a press event recently, Adam said: “Adam’s always there for Aaron. Aaron’s never really there for Adam – I’m not bitter about it!
“He loves Aaron. He’s his best mate and he’d die for him, man. He really would.
“If Aaron’s in danger, or upset, he’s obviously going to be there for him.
“I just hope that they get together, to be honest with you!”
US, TOO. We are loving the idea, in fact. Although, how they write in Adam suddenly developing sexual feelings for another man we’re not sure.

This isn’t the first time that Adam has suggested his character become gay – for the sake of better storylines!
He told The Sun: “Whoever’s gay seems to get a good storyline so I’m hoping Adam turns gay.
“I’m putting it out there. I’m not bothered about snogging another guy – I love guys.”
