There’s no love lost between Leanne and Michelle, we all know that.
But, given what Michelle has been through – and the fact Leanne is responsible for some of that pain – you’d think she would cut her some slack.
After losing her baby and husband Steve, Michelle deserves every scrap of happiness she can grasp – surely?
And her new relationship with Robert seems to be making her smile.
She has certainly convinced herself – for now – they have a future together, because she’s even asked to move in with him.
Yes, as if dating each other and working together wasn’t pressure enough, Michelle wants to add co-habiting into the mix.
But if Leanne has anything to do with it, Michelle and Robert won’t be buying his’n’hers bath robes any time soon.
She tells her Bistro boss that she thinks their relationship is moving way too quickly, accusing Michelle of being on the rebound.
She warns him to think very carefully, or he might end up getting hurt.
This is all out of concern for him, Leanne claims. But could there be another motive?
Michelle is obviously doing her maternity cover at the restaurant. Being in a serious relationship with Robert gives her a lot of power.
Maybe she watched The Replacement along with the rest of us and is feeling very insecure about her future.
With Robert and Michelle broken up, it’s unlikely the latter would want to stick around at the Bistro…
