EastEnders takes DRASTIC action over spoilers

How are they going to stop storylines getting out?

EastEnders are desperate to up the drama and suspense and have come up with a way of making sure their storylines aren’t leaked prior to transmission.

Recently, much of the outcome of the huge bus crash was known before the end of the week due to the release of a cast list for the following block of episodes.

Usually, the show gives out a list online of which cast will appear in each individual episode, but now The Sun Online reports that the show has decided that they’re just putting out a complete cast list with everyone’s name on regardless of whether they appear in the episode or not.

How frustrating!

Spoiler-hunters will be outraged that one of their sources of information has been cut.

Last month saw a double decker career through the market and smash into the residents. With Whitney and Martin trapped under the bus and Denise inside it, their future looked in doubt.

But although the cast lists for the following week’s episodes didn’t include their names, several other major characters were known to survive the accident.

In the end, no one died apart from the bus driver, which also annoyed fans.

The latest move is an attempt to keep the shocks coming as show bosses have reportedly told the writers they need to up the drama, but find a way to keep it quiet from fans.

Viewers haven’t been too happy with the soap constantly axing episodes recently.

FA Cup fixtures and an extended episode of Spy In The Wild have all seen EastEnders shelved and fans aren’t impressed.

Amy Hill tweeted the show asking “Can you tell me please why EastEnders is not on tomorrow night. Why has it been moved for Spy in the Wild?”

And Nic added “No EastEnders tomorrow noooooooo! [sic]”

Wooden Spoon revealed their “Friday feeling” was  “wiped out” when they discovered the show wasn’t on.

They have been making up for it with extra episodes this week and another scheduled for next week, but with this latest news, we’re guessing fans might not be too pleased with the show again!
