Corrie’s Ken Barlow is doing a brilliant job of alienating his entire family at the moment.
After burning Adam’s drug money and letting his grandson get beaten up last week, next week Ken upsets Daniel when he lashes out at Sinead over holding his son back.
And if that’s not enough he then only goes and tells Toyah all about Peter and Chloe’s ‘affair’ without even thinking to check his facts!
Chloe’s thing for Peter has been pretty clear from the off, but when he rejected her advances to return home to Toyah, she turned more than a little bit sinister as she secretly put a tracking device on his phone.

At the moment she’s making out she’s the one being stalked by her ex-boyfriend, and Peter is playing the dutiful protector, making sure she’s okay.
When he goes round to check on her again, she makes her move and kisses him.
With Toyah about to start IVF and already worrying because she’s found Peter’s stash of cash from Chloe’s tips, does she have even more to be concerned about?
It looks like the couple’s future will be thrown into further jeopardy when Chloe then rocks up at the Rovers and counters Peter and Toyah’s bid to buy the pub with a cash offer of her own. What’s she playing at?!
Peter can’t believe what he’s hearing – especially when Liz and Steve start to seriously consider her offer.
He guides Chloe outside before laying into her, telling her to stay away from him and his family.
But Ken’s clocked the whole thing, and instead of letting his son solve his own problems, wants to know exactly what’s going on.
He finds Chloe alone and asks her for the truth – so she tells him she’s Peter’s girlfriend!
Her lies don’t stop there, she informs Ken Peter’s drinking again, and also that she lent Peter some money and is only trying to buy the pub herself to save him.

Gullible Ken’s completely taken in and immediately heads over to break the news of Peter’s supposed infidelity to Toyah. Nothing like making a rash decision, eh Ken?!
Toyah’s understandably horrified at what she’s hearing, but will Chloe’s lies get to her too?
Peter’s got form, it’s hard to see how anyone will believe him this time – and he’s not even the one in the wrong! Will Toyah’s accusations actually drive him into Chloe’s arms?
