Casualty’s Robyn Miller faces peril as she goes into labour during David’s episode

Her labour is full of drama

Casualty fans were left in fear for  heavily pregnant nurse Robyn Miller’s life when she got into David Hide’s car on Saturday night and he sped off.

And the show released a trailer directly after the episode revealing things are set to take a VERY dramatic turn when Robyn goes into labour.

Robyn’s friend David is in the middle of a psychotic episode after coming off his bipolar medication.

As she tries to keep him calm, Dylan and her friends at the hospital keep her updated with advice on what to do, as David drives the car more and more erratically.

But then he snatches her phone and throws it out of the car window, leaving her completely cut off and in a terrifying situation.

As edgy David insists he’s just living life in the moment, the pair end up in a graveyard with the rain pelting down.

The storm rages and it’s a very inopportune moment for Robyn’s waters to break, but that’s exactly what happens!

With no way of contacting anyone for help, David is forced to assist Robyn as she goes into labour.

But things take a terrifying turn when the nurse tells him something isn’t right – and then she falls unconscious. Can David, in his state of mind, with no medical supplies, and in the pouring rain help her through this?

We already know one Casualty regular is going to die in very dramatic scenes coming soon.

Rumours had been rife it would be Lily, after a trailer showed her lying unconscious and bleeding in a car park – but could suggestions of her death have been a red herring?

Might the show have cleverly planted that there so we all assume Lily dies, then throw in the curveball that it’s actually Robyn who dies in childbirth?

And what would happen to the baby if she does?
