X Factor’s Grace Davies in agony ahead of tonight’s show

The show will go on for her, though

The X Factor has had its fair share of troubles this series and now contestant Grace Davies has revealed she has crippling back pain.

As she prepares to take to the stage for tonight’s Crazy in Love week to sing another of her original songs, Grace has revealed to The Sun that she is in huge amounts of pain.

“I don’t know what happened, but about three weeks ago I woke up with the worst back pain and I’ve had it ever since.

“Then [Friday] morning, I couldn’t even get up off the floor for about twenty minutes, and had to crawl my way across the bedroom.

“It’s affected me a lot in rehearsals.”

She’s having some physio to help her make it to the stage tonight, after spending yesterday strapped up with heat packs to ease the pain.

Hopefully she’ll be able to perform with minimal trouble tonight as fans will be looking forward to her original composition.

The singer has wowed the judges and the voting public, but rumours about her personal life have plagued her X Factor journey.

There were reports she was behaving like a diva backstage, but her mentor Sharon Osbourne has rubbished claims she had to give her act a talking to as nonsense.

In typical Mrs O style she told The Mail Online, through her rep, that the stories were “[Bleep]”.

Grace has also been forced to address stories that she was quizzed by police over a fight at school.

She told the Mirror: “There was an incident with a boy at college where I did completely lose my cool.

“It sounds so petty now but we weren’t getting on and a couple of people were winding me up and going through my belongings and things like that.

“I saw red for five seconds and it’s absolutely something I’m not proud of.”

She insisted she apologised at the time and has never forgotten the incident.
