Woman reported for fraud as she admits lying about depression to get nose job on NHS

The former glamour model admitted it on This Morning

There are two things we Brits aren’t keen on – anyone who knocks our beloved NHS and anybody caught lying on national TV.

So former glamour model Carla Bellucci was in for a rocky reception when she appeared on This Morning on Thursday (June 20) and revealed she LIED to get a free nose job on the NHS.

The mum-of-three had no shame about milking the system for all it’s worth, as she appeared on the show and admitted she ‘faked’ mental health problems in order to blag a free nose job rather than pay £7,000 to get it done privately.

Joining Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on the show, Carla explained why she had no regrets, and claimed that anyone who judges her is just jealous.

Oh, she really doesn’t mind people hating her, does she?

Carla, 37, told incredulous hosts Phil and Holly that she had faked depression and flirted with her GP to get the cosmetic operation, because she had always hated her nose but wasn’t prepared to pay for the work to be done privately.

She explained she’d had the op in February and claimed “no one checked a thing”.

She said: “I did bend the truth to get a nose job on the NHS… Would I do it again? I took it, and I think a lot of other people would.”

Clearly having problems with his guest, an angry-looking Phillip told her she would get “battered on social media” before admitted her nose was still “a bit off”.

Harsh but fair, Schofe!

Holly, meanwhile, said: “Just because you can work the system and you can get away and you know the right things to say, there is self policing.

“Shouldn’t you have said that to yourself? We’ve had parents of people who can’t afford to pay for life-saving treatment for their kids and the NHS won’t fund them.”

Later, Holly revealed that they’d received 6000 complaints about Carla’s confession.

Viewers were enraged by Carla’s appearance on the show, with some even claiming she shouldn’t have been given the airtime.

One said: “Woman fakes mental health issues = gets free nose job. Person who has real mental health issues = gets stuck on an endless waiting list for help. Now that’s wrong on so, so many levels. #ThisMorning.”

Another added: “Faked depression to get a free nose job. Admits she’s never had depression with a smile on her face. What an absolute [bleep]. Aren’t you lucky you’ve never had depression. Vile cow. NHS can’t fund a child’s cancer treatment but Carla wants a nose job and gets it #ThisMorning.”

A third wrote: “This has made me so angry! My little cousin’s life-saving treatment is being stopped due to lack of funding, then you have this absolute [bleep] getting a nose job because she lied about being mentally ill.”

“I have never been so disgusted at an interview in my life,” seethed one more. “What a vile woman. The amount of people suffering every day on waiting lists for treatment and some ending their lives because of this and this woman has the cheek to fake depression to fix her poxy nose. #ThisMorning.”

Many others called her “vile”, a “sicko”, “ugly inside and out” and insisted she should be “ashamed of herself”.

Carla has now been reported to the police for fraud.
