What’s on instead of I’m A Celebrity tonight?

Look out for Freddie and Jamie tonight

I’m A Celebrity is in unprecedented turmoil thanks to Storm Arwen and an evacuation of the castle, but what’s on instead in its place?

But even though ITV says that the show will return, it won’t be on tonight (Monday November 29).

I’m a Celebrity what’s on instead?

In the slot vacated by I’m A Celebrity, ITV has gone to two popular stars to bridge the gap.

DNA Journey first aired on the channel in 2019, and episode one of the series showed cricket star and Top Gear presenter Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff team up with Jamie Redknapp.

The pair use DNA technology to trace their ancestors.

The two pals embark on a road trip that takes them north and south to discover each other’s family histories using DNA and genealogy.

They also get to meet family they never knew existed.

When will I’m A Celebrity be back?

That may be tonight, but the good news is that I’m A Celebrity will return tomorrow after a weekend of storm-related turmoil.

The channel said: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will return from tomorrow night (Tuesday 30th November) on ITV and ITV Hub with a brand new show.

“Ant & Dec will be back presenting live from the Castle.”

Great news for fans, celebs and the production crew all around.

What did Ant and Dec say about the whole business?

Fans were stunned when the show was taken off air because of the impact of Storm Arwen.

On Saturday the channel and the production team took the decision to evacuate Gwrych Castle.

Taking to their personal Instagram account Ant and Dec addressed the situation.

Dec said: “The site was quite badly damaged during the storm and they [the crew] are in there, working round the clock, to try and get it back up and running, and back up to speed, so we can get back on-air as quickly as humanely possible.”

DNA Journey is on tonight at 9pm on ITV (Monday November 29)
