It’s been an absolute rollercoaster for Amber Gill fans, who’ve watched her fall for Michael Griffiths and get rejected over and over for Joanna Chimonides.
And now she’s finally met someone she likes, Michael’s trying to worm his way back in. But Love Island fans are NOT having it, begging her to choose new lad Greg O’Shea over her “toxic” ex.
Following Joanna’s exit and Amber’s nice date with Greg, Michael pulled her to one side. He told Amber: “I’m basically letting you know that I do still like you.”
She was gobsmacked and pointed out the convenient timing. He denied it was that, even implying he didn’t actually mean Joanna when he’d previously declared: “I’ve found what I’m looking for.”
He added: “I’m gonna throw all my pride out the window and tell you how I feel.”
In the diary room, Amber admitted: “I actually cannot believe what is happening right now.” While the rest of the contestants furiously debated the situation.
Maura Higgins said she thought their friend would go back to Michael, saying: “She has genuine feelings for him.” While Ovie Soko added: “You can’t deny there is chemistry between them.”
But Anna Vakili didn’t approve, saying: “I wouldn’t want it for my sister.” Molly-Mae Hague agreed, saying: “I’m surprised she’s entertaining it.”
Amber then had a chat with the lovely Greg, who told her: “I’m obviously rooting for Team Greg, but be true to yourself. Take care of yourself.”
During the games later, Michael snogged Amber, while Greg chose a more gentlemanly kiss on the cheek.

One viewer blasted: “I actually cannot take it. Like, I’m hopeful that Amber’s reaction means she at least won’t go back for now, but the audacity to even PULL THAT LINE makes me want to die.”
A second tweeted: “100% agree with Ovie, Anna and Molly-Mae! Amber is a total MUG if she takes Michael back.” A third warned: “Amber you’re being hoodwinked girl!!” A fourth said: “Surely no one wants Amber to pick Michael?? 🙈.”
While one more wrote: “I still like Amber but if she picks Michael I won’t be able to support such self sabotage #LoveIsland.”
Others begged her to choose Greg instead, with one tweeting: “Amber and Greg look like a proper couple. I don’t know why Michael wants her now… Please Michael, I am humbly requesting you to move onto another islander.”
A second declared: “Is it me or does Greg have a lil sumtin sumtin about him? Charming, respectful, has bants, handsome! #LoveIsland.” A third added: “In a world full of Michaels pick a Greg #loveisland.”

One more pleaded: “Amber please make the right decision. Michael is the DEVIL.”
