He didn't hold back!

Eamonn Holmes left This Morning viewers in hysterics on Friday after he advised a guest to let her face know she’s happy.

On Friday, Eamonn and Ruth Langsford met Nina Gray and her daughter Nicolette, who describes herself as a “Beverly Hills brat” on Instagram.

16-year-old Nicolette revealed she can’t survive unless she receives around $5,000 (£3,700) pocket money a month from her mum, who is a successful doctor.

As Nicolette and Nina joined Eamonn and Ruth via video call live from Beverly Hills, Eamonn said: “We must say Nicolette is the one on the left because they are like sisters.”

But Eamonn suggested that, despite receiving $5,000 every month, Nicolette didn’t look too happy.

“Smile for me Nicolette!” he said. “If I was getting 5,000 dollars a month I would be very very happy!”

“Do you ever let your face know you’re happy?” Eamonn added. “Do you ever smile? You don’t look happy.”

“Um, I’m pretty happy with it,” Nicolette replied. “But I still want more.”

Eamonn’s comment left viewers in fits of laughter.

One person wrote on Twitter: “‘Do you ever let your face know you’re happy?’ Well in Eamonn.”

“‘Do you ever let your face know you’re happy?’ GO ON Eamonn,” another said.

Meanwhile in the discussion, Nicolette said that she was forced to live “like a peasant” because her mum once cut her monthly allowance from $5,000 to $1,000.

Nicolette believes her allowance should be increased to be able to fund her luxury lifestyle.

“I need it for food and shopping,” Nicolette said. “I need it for lots of things. My personal trainers, all of it.”

When asked what she buys with the money, Nicolette revealed: “I buy wallets, purses, jewellery and clothing and I even buy my mum a bag sometimes.”

Explaining why she gives her daughter such a huge allowance, Nina said: “I’m a doctor and I do pretty well and because of that I am able to scale it to my level.”

Revealing why she cut once Nicolette’s allowance to $1,000, Nina added: “I was tired of her complaining and whining.

“I started bringing her allowance down when she was 15 and when she was almost 16, I thought maybe she should start fending for herself.”

“Nicolette, have you ever thought about getting a job?” Eamonn asked the teenager.

“No. It’s too much work!” she replied, as Nina joked: “A job for Nicolette? I think she would quit before she’s been fired!”

Defending her luxury lifestyle, Nicolette told her mum: “Why, if I’m already living a good life?

“It’s your fault, you literally caused me to be this way. You caused this, so you have to deal with it. You grew me up in Beverly Hills.”

Nicolette added: “I do like my life a lot and I do love my mum, but I could have a higher allowance. I would be way happier with a higher allowance.”
