“@thismorning Enabling the exploitation of an old lady and laughing at her. Should be ashamed of themselves,” said one.

“#ThisMorning clearly has them on as a [bleep]take. Shame they can’t be used as a cautionary tale,” said a second.

“#ThisMorning keep inviting them on – seems like they are mocking them and so is the nation,” declared a third.

“I feel This Morning are taking the [bleep] out of Iris to be honest,” said another.

“Anyone get the ick watching this couple on This Morning?” another asked.

“They know what the public’s reception to them would be but they invited them on knowing everyone will just laugh at Iris who is clearly being exploited by this man.

“I don’t know, don’t sit right with me,” they added.

“This is hard to watch, so awkward. Poor Iris,” another declared.

‘Right now Iris is HAPPY!’

However, some viewers were happy for Iris and urged others to be kind.

“Oh come on,” said one. “How many other women of any age have been taken for a ride – we all have at some stage.
