This Morning viewers have slammed Camilla Tominey after she tore into the Duchess of Sussex on the show today (November 10).
Camilla’s comments on This Morning came after Meghan Markle condemned tabloids during a chat with The New York Times.
In the candid chat at the DealBook Online Summit, Meghan said that tabloids should have warnings like cigarette packets.
What did Meghan say about tabloids?
When the topic of tabloid gossip came up in the interview, the duchess said: “Well, first, I would urge you not to read tabloids, because I don’t think that’s healthy for anyone.
“Hopefully, one day they come with a warning label like cigarettes do, like: ‘This is toxic for your mental health,'” she continued.

Meghan’s comments didn’t go down well with British journalist Camilla Tominey, who appeared on This Morning today.
While discussing the week’s biggest news stories of the day with Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, the topic of Meghan’s comments came up. The journalist launched into an impassioned defence of the tabloids.
What did Camilla say on This Morning today?
“Is she including People magazine in that when she got her friends to give defend of how she was being treated in the royal family?”
“Or is she including The Sun in that, who very successfully every year campaigns for people in the military with the Millie Awards?”
“Or is she including the Daily Mail in that, which very successfully campaigned to hold the killers of Stephen Lawrence to justice?” Camilla questioned.
“Let’s not have this broad-brushed generalisation about aspects of the media,” she continued.

‘This Morning host Philip Schofield quickly jumped to Meghan’s defence.
“There are some pretty toxic areas,” he said of the tabloids.
How did This Morning viewers react?
Vewers were not happy with Camilla’s comments on the show and were quick to tweet their thoughts.
“Camilla really doesn’t like Meghan, does she. I swear smoke comes out of her ears when Meghan is mentioned,” said one.
Another viewer tweeted: “Camilla is obsessed with Harry and Meghan and they never say a word about her. How sad.”
A third This Morning viewer angrily tweeted saying: “Camilla, always slagging off Meghan, she across as a bitter woman, can’t stand her.”
Some viewers agreed with the royal commentator, though.
One tweeted saying: “Meeeeoooow. Camilla barely holding it in this morning. Honestly though, she’s not wrong.”
This isn’t the first time Camilla has taken a swipe at Meghan and Harry this week.
Earlier this week, she said that Duke and Duchess of Sussex were being beaten at their own game by the royal family.
