What did This Morning fans say about the phone-in today?

Gino’s calls were all pretty light-hearted, which clearly led some to believe that they might not have been 100% real.

These calls are ridiculously fake,” one viewer complained.

Are these fake calls?” asked another viewer.

Ahhh … Okay…. Fake callers!” declared a third.

A fourth, however, admitted they didn’t think the show was in on the so-called fakery.

Instead, they said the callers were all making up their stories just to talk to the flirtatious chef!

“They all just want to talk to Gino and are making up fake scenarios,” giggled one.

“A woman rang in as her mother-in-law invites herself to stay every Christmas for 3-4 days. Gino D’Acampo’s advice: poison her, slowly,” they added.

“Never thought I’d say this but they need Gino back for more phone-ins like that!!! Hilarious!!!!!!” said another.

“Gino for agony uncle from now on please,” a third agreed.

Josie Gibson presents This Morning today

Gino’s advice section wasn’t the only change to the show today.

Host Holly Willoughby called in sick due to a tummy bug and her replacement went down a story.

Josie Gibson was on the way to host today’s competition segment and, after a quick phone call from bosses, diverted her car and headed into the studio to host the entire show alongside Phillip Schofield.

One viewer declared: “Josie is a natural presenter – it’s about time she got her time in the hot seat!”
