Bookies predict clear favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing

Which couple will be lifting the glitter ball trophy this weekend?

With four amazing finalists set to battle it out at this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing final – everyone wants to get their hands on that coveted glitter ball trophy… but the bookies have spoken and Joe McFadden is their favourite to win.

Alongside Joe, Debbie McGee, Alexandra Burke and Gemma Atkinson are all desperate to wow the judges – and the viewers at home – during the final this weekend.

Joe and his professional dance partner, Katya Jones, are currently top of the bookies’ leaderboard with odds of 4/6 to win the show.

And with judges saying he has has grown from strength to strength throughout the series, it looks like he might be waltzing his way to victory.

But hot on Joe’s heels is Debbie McGee – easily this year’s surprise dark horse.

Debbie’s odds of 9/4 put her in good stead – and although she is currently bookies’ favourite for runner up, it all depends on what she can pull out of the bag on Saturday night.

Strictly dance partner Giovanni Pernice has been pushing her with amazing routines – but can the pair pull it out of the bag this weekend?

Despite being arguably one of the best dancers out of this year’s finalists, Alexandra Burke’s odds of 6/1 don’t look great for the singer.

After being in the dance-off with partner Gorka Marquez, bookies have slashed her odds, leaving her currently fighting for third place in the 2017 final.

There have been rumours that she’s been fighting with Gorka – with sources claiming the pair had a bust up before they took part in last weekend’s dance-off according to The Sun.

But does her allegedly fiery temper mean she’s just desperate to do well in the show, or could it potentally mean she’s taken her eye off the glitter ball for a moment?

Emmerdale actress and radio host, Gemma, has been given odds of 10/1 by William Hill – but does this mean she’s really coming fourth in this series?

She’s been working hard with her Strictly dance partner, Aljaž Škorjanec, and the pair seem to get on like a house on fire – so maybe their friendship could see them crowned 2017 winners.

Rupert Adams, a spokesman for William Hill revealed: “The Strictly final looks difficult call, the value bet has to be Alexandra as she could be sensational on the night.

“But my money is on Debbie who has been a revelation and an inspiration to mature men & women across the country.”

After a surprise shake up to the format of this weekend’s final, it looks like the trophy could easily be anyones as the decision is entirely up to the public for the first time ever.
