Actress Tahirah Sharif plays a crucial role as PC Lizzie Adama in ITV’s The Tower cast.
The rookie cop is found on top of the roof of Portland Tower with her boss DI Kieran Shaw and a five-year-old boy following a horrific incident.

Actress Tahirah says: “It’s funny putting that uniform on for the first time because I’ve never played a police officer.
“I looked in the mirror and I really didn’t recognise that person.
“It does give you power. It’s like any uniform, like a doctor or a fire-fighter or soldier, these positions of power.
“It’s what the uniform represents.
“It also weighs a lot!”
What TV shows has The Tower’s Tahirah Sharif been in?
Tahirah’s first TV credits came with roles in Casualty and Doctors in 2011.
In 2012, she bagged a role as Madison in BBC One drama series One Night.
She also turned up in Whitechapel as Chantal Essian.
Tahirah returned to Casualty in 2013 and 2014, but cast in a different role to before.
She played Ella Ashford, the daughter of Casualty legend Ash Ashford, on several occasions.
However, it may be for her performance as Carrie Norton in Waterloo Road that Tahirah is best known.
She appeared in 10 episodes of the popular BBC drama in 2015.
Most recently she played Rebecca Jessel in Netflix‘s gothic romance The Haunting of Bly Manor.
