The Chase’s Anne Hegerty puts Bradley Walsh in his place after rude jibe

Take that, Bradders!

Bradley Walsh got more than he bargained for this week, when he dared to tease The Chase’s Anne Hegerty.

The quiz show host was soon put in his place when Anne – aka The Governess – gave him a verbal slap for being disrespectful about her appearance.

Doesn’t Bradley know the first rule of The Chase Club, is NEVER insult a chaser when they are bigger than you!

The exchanged occurred yesterday (Wednesday 3 April) during The Chase Celebrity Special, when Dani Harmer, Eddie Hall, Chemmy Alcott and Alex Horne all joined forces to take on the chaser.

When it was World Strongest Man Eddie’s turn to face Anne, Bradley couldn’t resist a cheeky jibe – which, to be fair, could have had him knocked out by both Eddie and Anne!

As Anne walked on, Bradley did a double take and joked: “Hang on! Crickey. It’s like looking in a mirror.”

An unamused Anne, however, didn’t see the funny side and delivered a brutal blow.

Stony faced, she told the presenter: “Shut up, Bradley!”

Shocked by the swipe, Bradders replied: “You’ve got to watch it.”

But something tells us it’s Bradley who has to “watch it”!

Eddie, who won Britain’s Strongest Man six times in a row before taking on the World title, then went on to shock the audience with his breakfast routine.

He revealed he has a fry-up every morning, followed by a “bucket of porridge” as a bowl isn’t enough.

He went on to win £2,000 against Anne.
