Being questioned about your own job doesn’t mean you can beat the Anne Hegerty on the Chase as a woman who works for the police force found out to her embarrassment.

Delwen, who moved to the police force to work as a police dispatcher after working as a teacher for years, was mocked on Twitter for bungling a job about her own employer.

After failing to answer a question correctly, one viewer taunted her with: “Sacked in the morning! You’re getting sacked in the morning!”

The ITV quiz show host Bradley Walsh asked Delwen and the I’m A Celebrity star “What is the highest badge of rank in the Metropolitan Police? Chief Superintendent, Commissioner or Commander.”

Nervously the 47-year-old contestant admitted the question had left her stumped, replying: “I’m not quite sure of that answer. Commander sounded as if it might be the highest rank.”

Even though Anne also got the answer wrong, which Bradley announced was actually Commissioner, Twitter fans wasted no time in taking the mickey out of Delwen for not knowing more about her own top boss.

One sarcastically wrote: “Reassuring that she knows so much about her employer.”

Another added: “Who works for the police and doesn’t know the ranks?!?”

A Scenes Of Crime Officer, got in on the Twitter pile-on adding: “I’m a SOCO & my police officer colleagues would rip the [bleep] out of me if I got a police question wrong.”

Things sadly didn’t improve for Delwen who was then eliminated shortly after the embarrassing moment.
