As if the pressure of choosing a girl on Take Me Out in front of a studio audience, nay, the entire nation, isn’t stressful enough, it seems that one contestant needed a little a bit more help than usual.
Take this weekend for example… (and if you don’t want to know, look away now!)
HR Manager and pizza shop owner, Martin from Sunderland, is on the show this Saturday, and he gets a big surprise when his young cousins come on to help him who to choose as his final date.

Sophia and Grace arrive on the show via the Love Lift to help their big cuz choose the girl of his dreams, because so far in his life he’s failed to find Miss Right.
Martin even admits to Paddy that the two girls have their own way of helping him.
He said: “They always take my phone to find out who I’m texting or check them out on Instagram.”
The cheeky pair even filled in the application form for the show, they were so desperate to get him a date.
So when Paddy asked the dynamic duo why Martin didn’t have a girlfriend yet, their reply said it all.

They said: “At his age he should have a girlfriend by now, it’s sooo embarrassing! It would take a good girl to change his ways, Paddy – it’s now or never!”
Out of the mouths of babes, ay!
Sounds like a bit of girly intervention is JUST what Martin needs, and what girl couldn’t love him for just how sweet he is with his young cousins.

But it’s not the first time the show has featured relatives coming on to help pick a girl.
Back in series five, Stuart got a helping hand from his sisters, and the girl he ended up choosing, Robyn, is now his wife!
