Suspicious I’m A Celeb viewers question trial result

Eyebrows were raised on Thursday night!

Jungle viewers have raised suspicions over the results of this evening’s I’m A Celebrity immunity task.

Iain Lee and Amir Khan were both granted immunity from the first public vote for the series… which raised eyebrows given the drama they caused last night.

They angered the entire camp yesterday after scoffing their Dingo Dollar treat of strawberries and cream in secret, then lying to the camp by pretending they didn’t win anything.

Iain then came clean, followed by Amir, leaving everyone pretty annoyed.

Some viewers felt it was way too coincidental that the two people who have annoyed camp the most lately would both be safe from leaving.

However, the show insisted the result was completely random.

The immunity challenge kicked off with Amir Khan and Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo being chosen for the Bushtucker Trial – the dreaded drinking game at Kiosk Keith’s Outback Refreshment Shack.

They found out as well as being picked for the trial, they had also been selected for a secret mission.

Amir and Toff are now founding members of the Fright Club and over the next few days will be playing to win immunity for some of their fellow campmates while living at Snake Rock.

They successfully passed tonight’s Bushtucker Trial, winning both food for camp and one immunity key.

Arriving at Snake Rock to their new home, the pair found a wall of framed portraits featuring the Fright Club logo.

They were told to place the key in one portrait at random to unlock the first celebrity who would get immunity.

Not knowing who was behind what picture, they opted for a portrait at random – and it was Iain.

“He won’t be happy about that he wants to go home,” said Toff.

“He wants to go but you know he’ll have to stay!” laughed Amir.

The second part of tonight’s challenge saw Amir and Toff choosing Vanessa White and Dennis Wise to act as their undercover agents at Croc Creek.

Vanessa and Dennis told the camp they were off to do a challenge to win food, when really they slipped way to complete another task to gain an immunity key.

They passed it and got the key, which meant another portrait could be unlocked.

Dennis chose the frame and unlocked Amir’s portrait, giving him immunity alongside Iain.

“There was ten portraits to choose from and it was a random choice, it was a bit far from me and I decided bang that’s the one I’ll do and it was Amir,” said Dennis.

While it was stressed the portraits were chosen at random, some viewers were still suspicious!

It was stressed multiple times during the episode that the portraits were arranged at random and the immunity was handed out at random.

Meanwhile, an insider spoke to The Sun earlier today denying the show intervenes to create drama.

A show source denied Twitter suggestions that Amir and Iain’s strawberry-gate was all set up, insisting the show doesn’t ‘fix’ results and everything happens organically.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs nightly on ITV.
