It’s the biggest night in British live TV: the Strictly Come Dancing final – and host Claudia Winkleman is feeling the pressure.
The presenter shared a pic of herself and TV wife Tess Daly in all their finery just 10 minutes before the show began on Saturday evening – and she said she was “scared”.
Perhaps she’d also read the news that tonight’s viewer figures are set to smash all records. Eek!
She shared a video clip of her and Tess from rehearsals earlier, apparently shaking off some nerves…
This latest announcement comes after this series of Strictly has had its highest ever ratings, while The X Factor suffered its lowest.
As an average of 11 million people regularly turned in to watch the dancing competition, new viewing figures from the BBC have revealed that she show is more popular than ever.

Last year’s series of Strictly saw an average of 10.9 million viewers watching each weekend.
The same success can’t be said for ITV’s Saturday night offering, The X factor, which pulled in its lowest ever audience figures throughout the most recent series.
Despite revamps to the show’s set up, the singing competition pulled in only 6.3 million viewers on average each weekend – and just 5.2 million saw Rak-Su take the winner’s crown in the final.

Over the years Strictly and The X Factor have always battled it out for weekend ratings – and for years the ratings were neck and neck.
Last year 13.3 million people tuned in to watch the Strictly final, which only comes slightly short of the record-breaking 14.3 million who watched the 2010 Strictly final when Kara Tointon won.
But the predictions for tonight’s show are out and with Strictly’s ratings doing so brilliantly this year, more people than ever will tune in to see the last remaining four couples battle it out for the glitterball trophy.
Joe McFadden, Gemma Atkinson, Debbie McGee and Alexandra Burke will all preform three dances each – and for the first time the winner will be chosen entirely by the people watching at home.
