Strictly pro Gorka Marquez broke down in tears on It Takes Two last night (December 1) and, as news of his emotion flooded Twitter, devoted fans rallied round.
Gorka, who is engaged to former celebrity contestant Gemma Atkinson, appeared in a pre-recorded VT on the show.
During the recording, he looked back at his time on Strictly and his celebrity partners.

After speaking about Alexandra Burke, Maisie Smith and Katie Piper, Gorka turned his attention to real-life partner Gemma.

The pair were never partnered together on the main show, with Gemma dancing with Aljaz Skorjanec.
However, they hit it off as friends backstage and things blossomed from there, he said.
As he paid tribute to Gemma, Gorka broke down in tears.
What did Strictly pro Gorka say about Gemma?
Gorka revealed: “I met Gemma in 2017. We just became very good mates and I think that was the key, because we were friends before anything happened.
“And now we have a beautiful daughter.
“Without Strictly I would have never met Gemma,” he said.
“I think she is the best person in the world. She inspires me every day. She makes me a better man, a better person and better everything.”
Getting tearful, he added: “I’m just so grateful to have her and call her my fiancée.
“Oh my god,” he said as he wiped the tears from his eyes.

Viewers were in floods of tears with Gorka.
“Currently crying with Gorka – what about you?” asked one.
Another said: “Awww my lord – Gorka has my eyes leaking.”
A third commented: “Getting so emotional watching Gorka talk about meeting and falling in love with Gemma.”
