Strictly Come Dancing viewers blast show as ‘a fix’ after judges’ scoring controversy

Alexandra's performance was given flawless feedback but not a flawless score and viewers are outraged

Strictly Come Dancing viewers are outraged that Alexandra Burke didn’t get a sweep of tens for her performance.

The singer performed the series’ first Argentine Tango with professional partner Gorka and stunned fans with their passionate performance.

But despite winning rave reviews from the judges, they only scored two tens and two nines and viewers are calling it a fix.

Bruno called the dance “extraordinary” while Craig Revel Horwood, who gave Alexandra and Gorka a nine, simply said: “You never cease to amaze me, that was incredible.”

Darcey Bushell continued the gushing saying she “loved the passion” of the dance while Shirley Ballas added: “I thought it was superb.”

However, when it came to scoring only Shirley and Bruno gave the dancers tens with Craig and Darcey awarding them nines.

Viewers flocked to social media to rage about the scoring, with one writing: “If that doesn’t get 40 Strictly is 100% a fix, Alexandra was incredible!!”

Another added: “If this doesn’t get 40 then it’s Defo a fix for Debbie to win!!#Strictly”

“I’m sorry, but there’s no way that Alexandra and Davood’s dances were worth the same score… Alexandra’s was miles better #Strictly” wrote a third.

Another tweeted: “What the hell does Alexandra have to do to get 40? That was the best dancing on strictly I’ve ever seen!! Up yours darcy and Craig!“
