Strictly Come Dancing couple accuse bosses of stirring up curse drama for married contestant

They branded comments on Saturday's show "disgusting"

| Updated:

Strictly Come Dancing couple James and Ola Jordan have accused the show bosses of trying to wreck EastEnders star Davood Ghadami’s marriage.

Their comments come after the judges made remarks to Davood, 35, and professional dancing partner Nadiya Bychkova after their racy routine on Saturday night.

Ola and James have slammed Bruno Tonioli after he said Davood looked like he was going “straight to the bedroom” with former Playboy star Nadia, 28.

Davood and Nadiya performed a fiery Quickstep routine to Last Nite by The Stokes.

Speaking about the judges’ comments James, 39, told The Sun: “I found it disgusting — let’s not forget this guy is a married man with two children.

“Bruno may have been joking but they’re joking with people’s lives here.

“He’s dancing with a good-looking girl and producers are trying to make her out to be this maneater which again is extremely unfair on her.

“These people are married. It’s not right.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother star continued: “At the end of the day they want Strictly to be this family show, clean entertainment — do they like seeing another marriage being messed up?

“They need to lay off this whole thing because it’s not fair on either of them.”

Ola, 35, added: “It’s just wrong. They’re forcing it.”

Davood and wife Isobel have been married for seven years and have two daughters together – Eva and Grace.

Meanwhile mum-of-one Nadiya lives with Slovenian football star Matija Skarabot.

At the weekend Davood and Nadiya ended up near the top of the leader board with 27 points.

But the star of the show was singer Alexandra Burke who topped it with a whopping 36 points.

The star performed a passionate Paso Doble to Ven a Bailar by Jennifer Lopez with partner Gorka Marquez.

JLS star Aston Merrygold and 58-year-old Debbie McGee also wowed judges with their routines.

Unfortunately Holby City star Chizzy Akudolu made an emotional farewell as she was booted off the show on Sunday.

Chizzy and partner Pasha Kovalev lost the elimination dance off to comedian Brian Conley and his partner Amy Dowden, who danced a disco themed cha-cha.

Speaking about her heartbreak over being the first famous face eliminated Chizzy wrote on Twitter: “Gutted I’m out of #Strictly Was so looking forward to doing #It for movie week…” before going on to thank Pasha.

“I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time on #Strictly Except the elimination part… Massive thanks to this dude for making it exceptional!!”

Fans were devastated to see the star go.

“Gutted too. You were glorious. xxx,” replied one.

“So beyond gutted, you were fab!! We started tweeting #ProudOfChizzy for you, hope you see it. There is SO much love for you out here,” another added.

The show continues on Saturday, as the 14 remaining couples compete in a Movie Special.
