Stacey Solomon lets slip Joe Swash’s biggest insecurity

She's been dishing Swashy's secrets again!

Sorry Joe Swash but girlfriend Stacey Solomon’s been dishing your secrets again!

During a chat on Wednesday’s Loose Women, the 28-year-old revealed her beau is really insecure about his hair loss and has tried everything in the books to get a fuller barnet.

Stacey said: “I know Joe has issues with hair and it makes him really insecure.”

She said: “He’s tried so many times to fix it or done hair transplants but they haven’t taken. So he wears a hat all the time and tries to cover it as much as possible because it’s a real issue for him.

“Joe had really curly, lovely, thick hair and it was part of his character, so when it went, that was part of him. It’s not like you can just stick a wig on it, he was losing part of him.”

Stacey’s comments came as Joe’s sister, former EastEnders actress Shana Swash, appeared on Loose Women to chat about her new movie.

Shana applauded Stacey for bringing up Joe’s hair loss, saying it’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

She said: “I’m so glad you [talked about his hair loss] because he’s kept that secret for such a long time, but just be confident about it! Let people know!”

A shocked Stacey replied: “Was it a secret?!”

Well, fear not, Stacey!

Joe has most certainly spoken out about his hair loss in the past: in fact, it was on an episode of Loose Women last year that he first spilled all the details on his hair transplant.

He said at the time: “I had one done years ago. For myself, it was something I wanted to do, it made me feel better. I was on the TV.”

Joe, 35, said he was tempted into it because he felt losing his hair aged him and he wanted to look his best for his job.

“I tried to keep it a secret. I was embarrassed about it and didn’t want anyone to know. I’ve never really gone out of my way to talk about it.”

However, he added: “I’ve never regretted it, for me it was the right decision.

“It’s not for everybody but in this day and age if you’re uncomfortable about something, you can change it.”
