Rumours are circulating over why Strictly Come Dancing champ Stacey Dooley kept her left hand ‘hidden’ as she posed with fella Kevin Clifton during their night out yesterday.
The dancing couple enjoyed an evening at the theatre to watch Kev’s actress cousin in a West End production of Mamma Mia, with him sharing a happy snap with Instagram followers earlier today.
But the Mirror wonders whether the private pair may be keeping a ring under wraps from fans because Stace’s hand was out of view when the pic was taken.
Fans commenting on Instagram seemed more taken with the fact they got a rare glimpse of the couple together – and also with her choice of theatre wear.

BBC Three host Stace looked very casual in her grey joggers alongside Kev’s cousin Sophie, who was wearing a red midi dress and sandals.
“Is Stacey wearing tracksuit pants to the theatre?!” asked one flabbergasted observer.
Another said: “Awww, that’s lovely. You do look immensely proud! Nice to see a pic of you and @sjdooley together.”
And a third agreed: “We need to see more pictures of @keviclifton & @sjdooley.”

Kev captioned the image: “So proud watching my cousin @sophiematthew19 playing the lead in @mammamiamusical West End last night.
“You’re so talented and we had the best time!”
It isn’t the first time the press have speculated Stace and Kev’s relationship may be moving on.
Some news outlets previously claimed in June the pair may be planning to waltz up the aisle after Stace was spotted out and about in London with a ring on her engagement finger.

But just a few weeks ago she insisted their relationship was not up for discussion as she spoke about it to The Guardian.
She said: “Kev and I have agreed not to go into too much detail about our private lives because you can’t really indulge that and then ask for privacy.”
