Bruno Tonioli’s absence on Strictly linked to model Matt Law and LA lifestyle

You could hardly blame him, if so!

Strictly fans were disappointed last weekend when judge Bruno Tonioli was unable to make it to the show, citing other work commitments.

It’s since been revealed that his international jet-set lifestyle – zipping back and forth between London and LA – might be sapping his energy.

And now it seems another piece of the puzzle is emerging, in the shape of 29-year-old underwear and swimwear model Matt Law.

It’s reported that 61-year-old Bruno is growing increasingly close to Matt, with a source telling The Sun: “Bruno has really been getting on well with Matt, they enjoy each other’s company.

“They have spent the last few days together in the States and he has been introduced to a few of his friends.

“Bruno is growing increasingly fond of Matt and it isn’t hard to see why. He’s noticed everywhere they go. They were very touchy-feely over dinner and laughing so loudly that everyone took notice.”

Bruno has also reportedly brought British Matt to his lavish Hollywood home, after a night at super-swanky LA eatery Cecconi.

The party of four also contained Lizzie Cundy and super-producer Simon Withington.

Bruno missed out on the Strictly judging panel for the first time in 13 years last Saturday, usually jetting back from LA after filming the US version of the show, Dancing with the Stars.

And Craig Revel Horwood – himself struggling with a hip injury which may keep him off future shows – said: “Bruno’s starting to get tetchy with the flying back and forth to America.”

However, Bruno put up a social media post insisting he’ll be back for Halloween show this weekend, writing: “You’re not going to get rid of me that easily.”

We can’t wait to see Bruno back on our screens this weekend – Craig’s impression of him last week was great, but no match for the real thing!
