Saturday Kitchen viewers slam show’s latest guest

He wasn't a popular choice with fans

Fans of Saturday Kitchen were unimpressed with this week’s guest – Brad Simpson from band, The Vamps.

The cooking programme was this morning hosted by chef Glynn Purnell and he was joined by the singer, who was facing his food heaven or food hell, for the duration of the show.

But Brad’s presence seemed to annoy regular viewers of the morning programme, purely because they felt he was too young to be appearing.

They were especially critical during the wine segment, suggesting he was too young to be drinking at all.

In fact, Brad is 22, and seemed to have a keen interest in food. But that didn’t stop viewers heading to Twitter to express their annoyance at him being on the show.

There were a couple however who were really pleased to see Brad taking part on the show.

Fortunately though, a lot of watchers were taken with one person on the show: Michel Roux.

The chef won over those watching with his cheesecake and also his take on the omelette challenge.

Instead of doing the usual race to see who could cook an omelette quick enough, Michel took us through the best way to make a perfect omelette – and viewers loved it, and him!

Once again flocking to Twitter, those at home were utterly charmed by the chef – with one even wanting Roux to be their grandad!
