Piers Morgan is never one to shy away from the opportunity to criticise the Duchess of Sussex.

Today on GMB, the journalist denounced the royal’s new documentary.

Meghan and Harry will be taking part in a ‘fly-on-the-wall’ reality show to be aired on Netflix.

Piers called Meghan Markle “the new Kim Kardashian”.

Ranting on the popular morning show, he said: “When will it drop that she came over here, took our prince and the titles, went back to Hollywood. I mean, a £112million deal with Netflix at the back of her royal status.”

“And now Miss Privacy has a fly-on-the-wall documentary. Every part of their lives is going to be filmed!”

Piers attacked Meghan and Harry for leaving the royal family, yet taking advantage of the fame it gives them.

They want to have their royal cake and eat it.

Susanna Reid tried to defend the pair, however did agree: “You can’t talk about privacy and then put cameras in your house!”

Should Harry and Meghan lose their royal titles?

This issue left GMB viewers divided.

One Twitter user shared Piers’ sentiment: “Harry and Meghan? Why though? Just get on with your ‘private’ lives that you wanted so badly.”

Another agreed: “Harry and Meghan have devalued the Royal titles. Anyone who does that isn’t worthy of the titles. #GMB”

However, some believe the Good Morning Britain host needs to leave the couple alone. One viewer said: “Are you not tired of bashing Meghan and Harry?”

Another added: “Boring @piersmorgan talking about Meghan and Harry again #obsessed #GMB”
