What is Our House on ITV about?

The series follows the fortunes of estranged couple Fi and Bram Lawson.

The drama sees Fi arrive home to find some complete strangers moving into her house.

Fi finds all of her furniture and possessions have gone, and she’s plunged into a strange, desperate situation.

With all her stuff gone, Fi believes there’s been a huge mistake and insists her home isn’t for sale.

But events spiral beyond her control, and her panic rises when she can’t reach her estranged husband, Bram.

He’s disappeared, too…

Our House ITV episodes – is it based on a book?

The series is based on Louise Candlish’s best-selling novel of the same name.

And it sounds like a head-mangling, edge-of-your-seat story that will keep you guessing until the very end.

The book’s tagline reads like this: “On a bright morning in the London suburbs, a family moves into the house they’ve just bought on Trinity Avenue.

“Nothing strange about that. Except it’s your house. And you didn’t sell it.”

Critics have called the book “addictive, twisty and oh so terrifyingly possible”.

The Guardian called it: ”A masterfully plotted, compulsive page-turner.”

The series has been adapted from Louise’s book by Simon Ashdown – the screenwriter who has worked and written over 150 episodes of EastEnders.

Our House ITV episodes – is there a trailer?

The trailer reveals a hornets’ nest of a twisty-turner.

Viewers witness Fi at the exact moment she realises that her home has been bought by another family.

Her sheer panic at what is happening to her is plain to see.

The trailer also shows that things might not be all as they seem with the married couple, who in one scene look as though they’re undergoing marriage guidance counselling.

Fi appears to be having an affair with the suave Toby (Rupert Penry-Jones), while Bram doesn’t look entirely innocent either…

Who is he smooching in bed with?

Furthermore, when he says he owes money to someone, does this mean it has something to do with the house and why it’s been sold?

So many questions…

Our House starts Monday March 07 2022 1t 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
