Proud as punch new dad Ashley Banjo was beaming as he spoke about the arrival of his first child this week on Dancing On Ice.
The Diversity star gushed that he was “in love” with his baby girl, Rose, who wife Francesca gave birth to on Thursday.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby congratulated Ashley, 30, as they introduced the panel on tonight’s show, saying: “The person on the panel who has had the biggest week is Ashley who has become a daddy, congratulations!”
Ashley, who might just be the nicest man in showbiz ever, replied: “I am in love, I know she’s not technically watching but Daddy will be home soon Rose, I love you.”
Aww, too much cuteness!
The pro dancer then joked: “And thank you to the make-up department because I look awful under here.”
Mum-of-three Holly warned: “Get used to that, trust me.”
Something tells us bags under the eyes and a few grey hairs won’t dampen Ashley’s joy about fatherhood!
