The Saturdays’ singer has finally addressed the speculation about the potential romantic relationship.

Speaking to The Sun, Mollie said: “I am single. There’s always going to be rumours on Strictly, that’s inevitable.

“The main thing is that people can see how well we get on. We have so much fun doing this.

“We have to be so comfortable with each other because we spend so much time together.

“AJ and I are physically very close all day and that’s such a huge part of the dancing.

“We don’t even think about it. We’re really close friends now.”

The statement comes after the pair were spotted leaving the Pride of Britain after party together earlier this week, leading to even more speculation about a possible romance.

The gorgeous blonde singer also opened up about her love life in the December issue of Women’s Health magazine.

“I love being in love. I literally love being in love,” Mollie said. “I’m so romantic. I’m such a girly girl.”

The pair have been flying through the show with their strong routines, until last weekend which saw the dancing duo in the bottom two for the first time.

Mollie and AJ discussed their upcoming performance where they’ll be dancing the Foxtrot. Appearing on Strictly: It Takes Two, AJ explained their routine: “”Mollie is a Hollywood superstar. She’s there and I’m her assistant and I’m helping her.

“I’m taking her coat off, I’m taking her glasses and I save her at the beginning – she falls.

“And then she falls in love with me afterwards.”

Catch the pair tonight on Strictly Come Dancing on BBC1.
