Michelle Keegan shares clip of new Sky One comedy Brassic

She stars alongside former Coronation Street co-star Debbie Rush

Actress Michelle Keegan has shared the first teaser for her new Sky One comedy drama series called Brassic and it looks like her former Coronation Street co-star Debbie Rush is part of the series.

Michelle posted the teaser to her Instagram.

The Our Girl actress captioned the post: “I can’t tell you how excited I am for you all to see this… BRAND NEW comedy/drama series for @skyone #Brassic out on the 22nd August.”

“I loved every single second working on this show, it’s totally unique and hilariously funny!… Get ready… Not long to wait!!!”

The six-part comedy drama, which is set in Lancashire, follows Vincent O’Neil, played by Joe Gilgun (Emmerdale, Misfits), who has bipolar disorder and his best friend Dylan, played by Damien Maloney. The pair are inseparable.

Michelle plays Vincent’s girlfriend Erin. In the series Erin plans to leave town to start a new life with her son Tyler.

Vincent is faced with a tough decision between leaving with the love of his life, or staying behind with his gang of friends.

Also appearing in the trailer is Michelle’s former Corrie co-star Debbie Rush, who played Anna Windass from 2008 till 2018.

In the trailer, Debbie’s character can be seen saying: “I hear that you’re a man that can get things done.”

Michelle has recently been in South Africa filming for Series four of BBC One drama Our Girl, where she plays Georgie Lane.
