Love Island’s Anna nearly quit after Jordan heartbreak as she brands his behaviour “worst” in show’s history

She gives her first interview after leaving the villa

After losing her place on Love Island, Anna Vakili has revealed she almost quit the show because of ex Jordan Hames.

The 28-year-old, who was dumped from the villa on Wednesday (July 24) along with Jordan, Harley Brash, and Chris Taylor, admitted she had to be talked out of leaving the show after Jordan confessed he has feelings for India Reynolds, just two days after asking her to be his girlfriend.

Anna said she nearly walked twice, once when learning she and Jordan came bottom of the public vote and for the second time when Jordan confessed his feelings for India.

Anna told The Sun Online: “I felt: ‘If the public don’t like me or want to watch me, then why am I here?’

“I thought I was in such a strong relationship that I could continue it on the outside if nobody wanted to watch me. That makes me laugh now.

“The second time was when Jordan did what he did – I was almost taking my mic off. I would have walked out if it wasn’t for everybody around me telling me not to and talking to me. I am glad I didn’t. I would have regretted walking because of a man doing something to me.”

Anna added that she doesn’t believe anyone on the show has acted worse than the 24-year-old model.

She fumed: “I think Jordan’s behaviour is the worst in Love Island history.

“Who makes someone their girlfriend, then announces they have feelings for another girl and tells her in front of my face, without telling me? I think that’s the worst thing that’s ever happened on the show and trust it to happen to me – it’s just my luck.”

Anna also accused Jordan of using her in a bid to get to the final of the show and admitted she’s relieved they “didn’t have sex” as it would have left her “even more upset.”

Jordan and Anna’s relationship broke down on Tuesday night, when he decided to pull India for a chat and explain how he was feeling.

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
